Cena Jindřicha Chalupeckého 2017-2019 – group of authors (2021)

The package of three catalogs for the exhibitions of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award from 2017 to 2019 captures the development and changes of the Award in recent years. The catalogs always present all the finalists of each year and invited foreign guests and their projects. The catalogs contain not only texts commenting on the installations of the participating artists but also reflections accompanying the organization of the final exhibition, from ecofeminism and the functioning of cultural institutions in times of ecological emergency to the increasingly relevant issue of recognizing female and male artists. The catalogs provide insight into the work of these artists and collectives: Andreas Gajdošík, Baptiste Charneux, Marie Lukáčová, Pavla Malinová, and the art group Comunite Fresca (2019), Alžběta Bačíková, Lukáš Hofmann, Tomáš Kajánek, Kateřina Olivová, and Adéla Součková (2018), Romana Drdová, Dominik Gajarský, Martin Kohout, Richard Loskot, and Viktorie Valocká (2017). The catalogs also include texts and photographs documenting the exhibitions of foreign guests CJCH Tai Shani (2019), Alexandra Pirici (2018), and Clemens von Wedemayer (2017).
