"I shouldn't have been born," says Iveta Bartošová about the day she unexpectedly saw the light of this world as an identical twin of her anticipated sister. It was as if this peculiar arrival into the world marked her for life. It felt as if she constantly had the sense of being something extra, unwanted, not fully valuable, somewhat cheated, overlooked, that she was a nuisance, that someone was striving for her life, that she had to fight for her existence to exhaustion, that... Perhaps that's why her professional and private life is marked by rapid rises and deep falls accompanied by self-destructive attempts. The book, titled after Iveta's fundamental life feeling, arose from her compulsive need to "tell everything about herself until the end," because "then maybe I will finally feel relieved, I can't carry this weight inside me forever."
