Description
An illustrated photographic publication that maps the architectural and historical development of the Archbishop's Palace, its artistic monuments, and interiors. The book presents a number of historical photographs, both black and white and color, which have been converted to digital quality, along with more than 1500 new photographs. Historical materials were drawn from the archival sources of the Archdiocese of Prague, the Archive of the City of Prague, the Office of the President of the Republic, the Metropolitan Chapter of St. Vitus in Prague, the Museum of the City of Prague, the National Gallery, the National Heritage Institute Prague, the Administration of Prague Castle, and Strahov Monastery.
