Pití Sokratovo – Erbová Karla (2023)

A selection of poetry by poetess Karla Erbová encompasses the years 1966 to 2022, confirming a wide range of themes represented in the individual poems: from verses dedicated to various personalities to her native Plzeň and personal confessions. Karla Erbová's poetry is unmistakable – it is permeated with messages that go straight to the core without embellishment, light irony, and a desire for justice. The verses are accompanied by a cycle of photographs by Vojtěch Kemenny, capturing various nooks, often witnesses of old times, sometimes already in a state of degradation.
