Description
The Moon So Foolishly Blue follows the author's recent collection The Leaky Testament. The internally connected verses traverse various landscapes and dramas of life – as if the poet were walking her path again while significantly deepening her own footprints. The act of leaving continues, which, however, does not signify a descent but an ascent. New inner landscapes emerge, once again full of questions – and we are already a step further, this time also receiving answers. Or at least hints of answers. The verses are charged with high tension of anxiety not only about one's own life but about our planet; it is being devastated from all sides, making it hard to find a place "without threats and without traps". What prevails in these verses is not sadness, but rather a hidden, non-pathetic call for salvation. And the author bids farewell, "curious about the verse that someone else will finish."
