Description
The heavenly old lady Perinbaba, who rules over wind and snow, is the titular but not the main character of the story. The main character is Jakubko, a young man with the courage of a brave soul, the wisdom of Grandpa All-Knowing, and the perseverance of Omar, who dug a well in the rock of Trenčín Castle for love. Our hero does not fight a dragon, but something worse – human foolishness and malice, represented by the evil stepmother and her foolish daughter Dora. Another opponent is his godmother Death, who guards the order of the world with her all-powerful scythe. The beautiful princess has been replaced by an equally beautiful but also good Alžbetka, for whom Jakub gave up eternity and fled to the world.
