Written by longtime Macedonian teacher Igor Stanojoski, this practical textbook of contemporary Macedonian is intended for Czech students. Its material is divided into 28 lessons covering the lexical and grammatical language material needed to reach an initial A1–A2 level in foreign-language study. The main aim is to prepare students to use Macedonian in various communication situations. The textbook also includes texts for reading and translation, as well as a Macedonian–Czech dictionary at the end. This differential-frequency dictionary contains commonly used words that differ lexically and phonetically from their Czech equivalents enough that Czech students are unlikely to guess their meaning.
