The manuscript of Ivan Jonák's book was created between 2005 and 2011 during his several years in prison, where he was serving a sentence for the contract murder of his wife. My name is Ivan Jonák. Many of you surely know me as the operator of the Discoland Sylvie establishment. I am often portrayed as one of the symbols of the 1990s and am associated with the wild beginnings of entrepreneurship, but you actually know nothing about how I got into all of this. My life has been the absurdity of all absurdities and an incredible sine wave. In this book, I describe the times and characters of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, as well as the various opportunities these times offered me.
