The author of the book is PhDr. Zdeněk Pokluda, and the Czech-English text is also complemented by period photographs from the life of Tomáš Baťa. In short, clear chapters, the basic principles of Baťa's business are presented – profit sharing, self-management of workshops, Baťa's service to the public, Opportunity for All, etc. Some of Baťa's texts, which were only available in archives, are published here for the first time – a reflection on banks and a memorandum to the Prime Minister on regional policy. It was published by the Tomáš Baťa Foundation and the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín, Faculty of Management and Economics in April 2015.
