Klinická parazitologie psa a kočky – Svoboda Miroslav (2013)

A monograph focused on the occurrence, diagnosis, therapy, and prevention of the most important parasitic diseases in small animals. In the general part, the authors address the principles of parasitological diagnostics and treatment options for both internal and skin diseases of parasitic origin. The special part focuses on individual parasitoses in accordance with their taxonomy or organ involvement. Although the book describes around 200 different parasites of dogs and cats, the authors particularly focus on those nosological units that play a dominant role in protecting the health of animals in interest breeding and humans. This representative publication includes dozens of illustrative images by Josef Zatloukal and 150 often unique photographs from 35 authors from around the world. For quick orientation, the book contains, in addition to an index, a tabular overview of the diagnosis and therapy of the most important diseases, as well as a current overview of products effective against internal and external parasites of dogs and cats registered in the Czech Republic. Clinical parasitology of dogs and cats is primarily intended for veterinarians and veterinary medicine students.
