The book is a loose continuation of the book My Journey to the Lamas. Lama Ole Nydahl and his wife Hannah spent three years in the Himalayas, where they learned directly from the 16th Karmapa, the head of the Karma Kagyu lineage. They returned with the challenging task of conveying the deep and timeless teachings of Tibetan Buddhism to people from the West. Thanks to this book, we can sense the indomitable activity of Lama Ole Nydahl, which has led to the establishment of nearly 600 Diamond Way Buddhism centers around the world over the past 40 years. Almost four hundred pages of captivating storytelling, including several dozen documentary photographs, describe more than thirty years of the development of Diamond Way Buddhism in the West.
