The book Achnaton and Nefertiti, Pharaohs of the Sun is dedicated to the historical, artistic, and spiritual legacy of ancient Egypt. Through a chronologically organized text, which draws on the latest findings from archaeological research and the work of renowned archaeologists and scholars, the main historical events, cultural and social processes, as well as religious (magical and spiritual) beliefs that influenced the development and flourishing of Egyptian civilization as a whole are illuminated (the first part of the book). The reign of Pharaoh Akhenaten and his charming wife is referred to as the so-called Amarna period (the second part of the book). Who was Akhenaten?
