The Spanish Conversation book is designed for teaching conversation not only in secondary and language schools. The textbook is conceived as a supplementary material for systematic teaching; it serves very effectively for preparation for the final exam or as a starting material for preparing university students from various fields for the general foreign language exam or for trips to Spanish-speaking countries as part of scholarships. Students are provided with a practically oriented textbook that aims to expand and summarize vocabulary based on everyday life topics. The vocabulary is derived from contemporary speech predominantly in Spain. The goal was to include expressions that are missing in other Spanish textbooks but are essential for staying in Spanish-speaking countries. The textbook contains 15 lessons or thematic units. Each lesson is divided into seven parts, where Part A contains vocabulary with Czech translations, Part B consists of a conversation mainly in colloquial Spanish with a glossary below the text, and Part C features a short text that has been left in its original form and comes from Spanish press, magazines, informational brochures, or similar materials.
