Leoš Šimánek does unusual things that bring unusual adventures! After a seven-part series of autobiographical travelogues, he decided to continue in an interview style and write his complete autobiography. This time, Leoš and his wife Lenka did not meet only with his younger brother and sister-in-law at the cottage in the Orlické Mountains as before. He also invited his older brother and his wife, as well as his sister and her husband to their cottage in Rtyně in the Podkrkonoší, which they took over from Lenka's parents as an established guesthouse. It was agreed that they would stay as long as Leoš would recount his experiences from childhood and youth, as well as from subsequent travels and expeditions around the world, which he initially undertook alone and later with his whole family. When the siblings said goodbye after four days spent at the cottage, Leoš's older brother came to him and said, "It's remarkable that you survived everything you've experienced!" From his storytelling, Leoš Šimánek selected his most interesting experiences for this book, which are documented with a multitude of colorful photographs.
