For greater clarity, the book is divided into two parts: In the general section, you will learn about the systematics and distribution in the world and in the Czech Republic, terminology, anatomy, morphology and physiology, equipment necessary for breeding, reproduction and rearing of larvae, diseases, and various interesting facts. In the specialized section, you will find an alphabetically arranged list of bred species, first the golden beetles, then the rhinoceros beetles. Each species includes its tribe, distribution, size, description, and possibly a note. Most species are also illustrated with photographs. Golden beetles (Cetoniininae) and rhinoceros beetles (Dynastinae) belong to the family Scarabaeidae. Golden beetles are further divided into ten tribes and rhinoceros beetles into eight tribes. All of these are listed in the book.
