Description

The central character of this story - the reader of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy - decides to follow Dante's astral trail through the underworld and write his own book. Deeply immersed in inner observation, he establishes contact with Akron, a timeless and eternal spiritual being, who reveals himself to him as his own knowledge from the future. Together, they set off into the inner world, the oldest place of human development. The protagonist overcomes the 'Guardian of the Threshold' and enters the 'Hell of the Ram'. He is confronted with various forms of violence. Once as a perpetrator, once as a victim, he penetrates into a world of aggression, the roots of which reach back to his earliest childhood. He becomes increasingly entangled in a bloody vortex and does not shy away from the murder of his spiritual guide. In the end, he realizes that the cause of hatred and war is his own petrified heart. The work complexly intertwines deep insights with suggestive archetypal symbols enriched with images, creating a philosophical comic of a completely unique kind.
