The aim of this publication is to complement existing textbooks with a communicative section in an attractive form. It presents six texts in the form of narratives, dialogues, letters, etc., which can be used for reading or listening comprehension. Following the introductory text are exercises designed for working with the text: some focus on vocabulary and grammar, while others provide topics for conversation or introduce cultural realities. This volume requires knowledge of 1200 expressions from the area of general vocabulary, which takes into account the requirements of the international exam 'Zertifikat Deutsch als Fremdsprache.'
