Description
Ján Marton, in his second collection, saves words, and for that reason, his unrhymed verses have even greater power. It is a concentrate of feeling, hopelessness, sincerity... It is a lament of a soul that writhes, crawls, moans, cries, and the only thing it has managed to reach is a pen. It grabs it, squeezes it with a sweaty palm, and scratches its tears into the world with it. It does not care what the response will be. It needs relief, it wants to survive, even though in some poems it may seem otherwise. Don't believe it. Marton was born for all of us... If he survives, humanity will survive too.
