Ascendent - Karmická brána duše – Schulman Martin (2002)

The author thoroughly analyzes the essence of the ascendant in the horoscope from a somewhat unusual perspective: according to him, the ascendant is not just an indicator of the external manifestation and possibly the appearance of the individual, but a gateway to the soul that filters everything else in the horoscope. After a very interesting overall theory about what the ascendant actually is and how it works, the book offers interpretations of the twelve individual ascendants and concludes with two sample horoscopes.
