Annotation: The poet and graphic artist wrote a total of thirteen poetry collections, which were published during his lifetime, except for the last collection Departure of the Swallows. The fifth poetry collection Lips and Teeth concludes his first creative period, characterized by an intense experience of sadness and decay and strong expressiveness of expression. The collection is in a certain sense key to Reynek's poetic development; it completes both the expressionist tendency from which Reynek emerged and anticipates his future detachment and rooting in the horizon of his native Petrkov in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands.
