This Czech-language book celebrates wine, the divine drink, in its many forms. In the first chapter, the author presents the benefits of responsible wine consumption in an engaging way, advising readers how to achieve it and avoid possible risks. More than one hundred notable personalities contribute to the following chapter, which at its launch on 26 November 2025 at Prague’s Municipal House entered the Czech Book of Records as the “Book with the greatest number of authors expressing their love of wine.” A separate section is devoted to recollections of the distinguished cardiologist and wine lover Professor Milan Šamánek. The book also includes interesting quotations from books about wine and sayings by famous people on the subject, accompanied by numerous reproductions of classic works of world painting depicting wine and its consumption.
