The chemistry textbook is created in accordance with the RVP ZV concept. It focuses on topics in organic chemistry, biochemistry, and other chemical fields. It utilizes modern teaching trends. Emphasis is placed on clarity, logical connections, and interconnections with other natural sciences as well as practical knowledge from everyday life. There is also a focus on awareness of the impact of chemical substances on human life and the environment. A whole chapter is dedicated to these topics. The textbook contains many images, photographs, and diagrams that facilitate understanding of the material being discussed. A strength of the textbook is the large number of practical tasks, interesting facts, and examples from life. The material is presented in a clear and entertaining manner. Emphasis is placed on ensuring that the textbook is not overloaded with information, and therefore the main text contains only the basic material that every ninth-grade student should master. Interesting facts and supplementary material are presented in smaller print in blue columns on the right edge of the pages. The information in these tables is not meant to be memorized.
