The history textbook for the 9th grade is created in accordance with modern trends in history teaching. Emphasis is placed on clarity, comprehensibility, logical connections, and interdisciplinary relationships. Recent history is covered in detail.

The textbook texts are systematically and clearly divided into thematic chapters. Each chapter always begins on a new page. The main teaching text is written clearly and simply, considering the age of the students.

The textbook also includes excerpts from beautiful literature and related comprehension questions. Each major chapter ends with a review.

The textbook contains many illustrative photographs, images, and diagrams. Thanks to these, students will better understand the material. The text is supplemented by timelines and a large number of maps that help orient in the described historical events.

The main text is supplemented by interesting facts presented in yellow columns along the edges of the textbook. These texts are not meant to be memorized.

To expand English vocabulary, each page features two terms selected from the main text in the form of a Czech-English glossary in a yellow box at the bottom.
