Description
This collected edition of the popular fantasy comic series The Lament of the Lost Lands, created by Grzegorz Rosiński, known for Thorgal, follows Princess Sioban as she confronts a dark past, black magic and enemies seeking to conquer her kingdom. The story takes place in Eruin Dulea, an island nation of magic and knights reminiscent of the early medieval kingdoms of the British Celts. The first cycle contains the stories Sioban, Blackmore, Lady Gerfaut and Kyle of Klanach, along with sketches, interesting facts and information about the entire series. Grzegorz Rosiński’s exceptional artwork, dramatic twists and dynamic imagery give the comic a cinematic quality, while the grandeur of medieval castle interiors and magnificent landscapes is enhanced by the colouring.
