There is much more to this story than has been revealed so far. The population is already outraged by what it has learned over the past year or two, but it knows only a fraction of the entire scandal. In England, this epidemic of child sexual abuse by grooming gangs has been ongoing since at least 1988; moreover, the victims are not just white schoolgirls. Despite more than a decade of misinformation from child care experts, academics, and political activists, early claims (from 1988 to 2003) stated that the gangs were overwhelmingly Muslim. This massive predominance of Muslim men in this criminal activity has been confirmed by prosecutions in the last three to four years, but it is clear that this must have been known long ago and should have been made public.
Given that the predators were Muslims, the authorities responsible for protecting children have almost completely failed in their duty to safeguard vulnerable children. Out of fear of being labeled 'racist,' police forces across the country buried evidence. National agencies dealt with cybercrime, bullying in schools, and the trafficking of children into Britain - almost anything to avoid attention to this serious sexual and violent abuse occurring throughout England.
