Petr Karas presents a series of stories from his life, from his youth and from recent years. He shares not only difficult moments from hitchhiking journeys and high-altitude climbs, but also powerful episodes from the parish in Dolní Bojanovice in South Moravia, where he has worked for many years. Each story contains a spiritual message, sometimes with several layers, so that suspenseful reading gradually and unobtrusively becomes an opportunity for spiritual reflection. Father Petr Karas (*1969) came to Dolní Bojanovice in autumn 1999. He is deeply involved in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and was spiritually formed at the international school of prayer and evangelization Jeunesse – Lumiere, associated with the influential French priest Daniel Ange.
