Description
This Czech-language graphic biography tells the story of Pier Giorgio Frassati, who dies in 1925 at just 24. Born into a wealthy family, he is mourned in Turin by people from every social class because he helps many poor families. He studies engineering, takes an interest in politics, enjoys sports and loves mountaineering. From childhood, he deepens his relationship with Jesus, and as an adult becomes a Dominican tertiary. Pope John Paul II beatifies him in 1990 and proclaims him the patron saint of sportspeople and World Youth Days. He is canonized in Rome in September 2025 alongside Carlo Acutis, giving young people two remarkable friends and intercessors in heaven.
