Přírodopis 7 - Zoologie a botanika, Čtení s porozuměním (2026)

This Czech-language natural science textbook for seventh grade has been revised in accordance with the 2023 Czech Framework Educational Programme. It emphasizes clarity, visual presentation, logical connections and links between school subjects. The book is divided into two main sections, zoology and botany. The zoology section focuses mainly on vertebrates, presenting characteristic features through specific examples before providing a general description of each group, followed by an overview of selected representatives, usually in diagrams with colour photographs. The main text is supplemented by additional material in blue sidebars, which is not intended for memorization. The botany section covers spore-bearing and seed plants, helping students distinguish the characteristic features and structure of gymnosperms and angiosperms. Illustrations, photographs and longitudinal and cross-sections of plant organs support the explanations. Students can test their knowledge in a final section on plant communities. Each chapter includes questions checking understanding, group and practical tasks, observation activities, cross-curricular topics and a clear summary. Chapters begin with a motivating literary excerpt and reading-comprehension questions. The textbook also includes cyclical revision throughout and a final review at the end. All contents are in Czech.
