Description
The full-color publication by collector Mgr. Miloslav Fialka, "The Municipality of Tasov in Old Postcards and Photographs," depicts the appearance of the village of Tasov, located near Velké Meziříčí. Most of the postcards and photographs from the author's collection are supplemented by images from the archival collections of museums in Velké Meziříčí and Třebíč. They showcase Tasov in the first half of the 20th century, primarily through the photographs of Ondřej Knoll from Náměšť nad Oslavou and Rudolf Skopce from Velké Meziříčí. A part of the book is dedicated to the local native, poet, and Catholic priest Jakub Deml.
