Description
Following the book "Fire Trucks in Vysočina (First Half of the 20th Century)" from 2021, a loose sequel is being released, dedicated to firefighting technology from the second half of the 1940s to 1970. Contemporary photographs of preserved vehicles complement factory and other historical images of Praga Aero, Praga RN, Praga V3S, Tatra 805, Tatra 138, Škoda 706, as well as foreign vehicles Robur Garant, Robur Kurýr LO 2500, ZIL 157, and ZIL 130. The authors aim to remind readers of the fire trucks from the period 1945–1970 and simultaneously pay tribute to those who created this beautiful technology, as well as to those who selflessly operated it in service to their fellow beings.
