The textbook combines explanatory text and practice exercises.

The textbooks are prepared for teaching in secondary schools with an economic focus that want to teach in a modern and engaging way. They include explanations with sample examples, accompanying materials to enliven the lessons, as well as questions and exercises for practice.

The content of the textbook is divided into the following chapters:
The essence of how a market economy functions
Entrepreneurship
Current assets
Fixed assets
Employees

The first part is organized to allow for teaching in two typical ways:

1. In concentric circle teaching, instructors in the first year can cover only the first part of the thematic units Current Assets, Fixed Assets, and Employees with students, and then address the second parts in the second year.

2. Instructors who want to cover the entire material at once can proceed according to the arrangement of the subchapters of these thematic units. We assume that in the first year, most of the textbook can be covered, with the remaining part at the beginning of the second year.
