Having a mom who owns a tiny bookstore could be a dream for someone. Perhaps for someone who loves books. Or for someone who absolutely adores the smell of paper. Or maybe for someone who really enjoys chatting with strangers who come into the bookstore and desperately need advice on which story to read to know how to deal with their own – life. Mína doesn't particularly like books, paper, or people. What she loves most is ballet and watermelon gum. And of course, her mom, who unfortunately owns a tiny bookstore just to make things difficult. It is precisely because of her that Mína tries to endure and help out in the shop every afternoon after school. With all those strange and colorful books she sells, and with even stranger random passersby who always seem to wander into the bookstore rather than actually aiming for it.
