Grilling for me symbolizes freedom, freshness, and gathering with those I love. I guess I'm not alone in this; we all love grilling, and it's no wonder, being outdoors is simply nice. Every proper barbecue party is inextricably linked mainly with meat, and you will find plenty of it in our book. However, it also offers recipes that reflect the ongoing change in lifestyle. There is no doubt that people are starting to eat lighter and more digestible foods. In my life, I have eaten enough meat to realize that variety and balance in food are just as important and enjoyable as variety and balance in a complex life. Moreover, the garden is full of tempting fresh ingredients in the summer and offers plenty of inspiration. The cookbook builds on our publishing production from recent years, when the chef's ego has largely given way to the needs of the ordinary person, and when we understood that the resources available to us chefs are often inaccessible to the average consumer. Therefore, we have again primarily focused on products commonly used in Czech households and on recipes that anyone can handle.
