Description
The publication contains worksheets created specifically for children whose native language is not Czech. However, they can also be used with Czech-speaking children. The worksheets are intended for working with children in preschool or in preparatory classes of elementary school. They playfully process vocabulary that a child with a non-native language will most often encounter upon entering a preschool facility and that is also most commonly worked with in preschool. In addition to vocabulary acquisition, the worksheets focus on the development of visual perception, logical thinking, graphomotor skills, pre-mathematical concepts, left-right orientation, fine motor skills, and breathing exercises. The workbook also includes a methodological guide that specifies educational goals (outcomes), works with motivation for activities, and supplements exercises in the worksheets with additional ideas for working with children.
