The set of 20 worksheets is designed for working with students who have a different native language in the first stage of primary school. It primarily serves to develop vocabulary in the field of natural sciences. The publication is divided into thematic chapters that address basic scientific topics such as general knowledge of natural sciences, plants, animals, types of landscapes, humans, and the universe. While working with the worksheets, students will become familiar with basic concepts, improve their language skills, and enhance their logical thinking. In addition to communication skills, other abilities, particularly personal and social skills, are developed through working with the manual. Space is also dedicated to interdisciplinary relationships. Although the worksheets are primarily intended for students with a different native language (OMJ), they can also be used for other students, especially those with special educational needs. The presented materials are suitable for both individual and group work. The foundation of the worksheets consists of interestingly processed black-and-white illustrations, for which several simple tasks for students are prepared. All assignments can be supplemented and elaborated upon as needed and according to the individual capabilities of the student.
