Lázenský dekameron – Semecký Josef (2022)

The author speaks candidly and without embellishment, with complete raw openness, about the real spa life, as it truly is and as he had the opportunity to experience during his more than fifty spa stays. The stories, written by life itself, are full of tension, anticipation, desire, sensuality, and erotic charge. At the same time, he fully exposes the negative character traits of some spa guests, which unfortunately occur in every society, spas included. On the other hand, with his sincerity, freshness, and airy cheekiness, it is full of exciting moments and carefree fun. The book was considered for publication under the title 'Františkolázeňský Dekameron', but since such everyday stories also take place in all the other beautiful spas of our country, this title was chosen instead. I believe that after reading a story from one of them, the vast majority of you, spa-goers from across the country, will agree with this opinion. To other readers, we can only advise: don't be like the author in his younger years and don't hesitate; years can never be replaced by anything!
