Welcome to Russia in 2032. The world is at peace. Russia, Europe, the United States, and China have signed an agreement that excludes aggressive nuclear war and hostility. Human rights or repression within Russia are considered its internal affairs. America is no longer an enemy; the rhetoric has completely changed. The Chinese - Russia's 'brotherly allies' - operate productive farms on the eternally frozen land of Siberia. The socio-political dystopia was published by the author in 2019, before the direct Russian aggression against Ukraine and at a time when it was not yet entirely clear which direction Russia and the overall international situation would take.
The author draws from his own insights and experiences from today's prison and coercive system in Russia, rather than merely creating a darkly conceived sci-fi reality. In the novel, he presents a shocking yet unemotional view of a not-so-distant possible future for Russia, in which there is nothing that cannot already be found today.

Alexey Fedjarov was born in 1976 in Chuvashia. After studying law, he worked for ten years as an investigator at the prosecutor's office and in 2007 moved to the business sector. …
