In the book Tradice, subtitled Folk Customs and Recipes, the magazines Venkov & styl, which has been bringing its readers numerous reports on our traditions and customs for more than ten years, and Apetit, which has been offering inspiration for nearly two decades to all who enjoy good food and know that home comfort stems from good meals and shared moments at one table, have joined forces. The customs we aim to present in the book are based on those of the church that are tied to the given season. For the recipes, we did not set ourselves the task of strictly adhering to ancient formulations, because just as some customs change over time, so do the ingredients. We approached the selection of recipes in the same way, of which you will find more than a hundred in the book. They are based on traditions and prepared with local ingredients. With love and respect, we have cooked and diligently tasted them for you.
