Cycling from Prague all the way to Tibet is definitely a challenge, but also a life experience that cannot be matched. Honza's journey was accompanied by hardships and complications that you wouldn't even dream of, but also an endless number of breathtaking views, new colors, cultural traditions and customs, and human stories. Following the footsteps of Marco Polo along the Silk Road and beyond, Honza cycled nearly 10,000 kilometers across deserts and the highest mountain ranges on our planet: Kunlun Shan, Tian Shan, Pamir, and the Himalayas. He reached Tibet from the least accessible western side via the highest road in the world, Route 219, which at times exceeds an altitude of 5,500 meters. He traveled through twelve countries and regions such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Xinjiang, Aksai Chin, Tibet, and Nepal. Along the way, he mostly met local people, with whom he talked about their lives and recorded many human destinies. Join him on a pilgrimage to Tibet!
