Description
A war story of a young boy from Roštín, a village at the foothills of the Chřiby, who hid for two and a half years after escaping from forced labor in the Reich and spent the last two months of the war fighting as a full member of the partisan unit Olga. This unit operated in the Chřiby from December 1944 until the end of the war. Their most famous action was the capture of German Major General Dietrich von Müller. Before and after the war, he was heavily involved in tramp culture and especially in tramp music. In the 1980s, he founded a tramp music group called Stará píseň with friends. The second edition is supplemented with memories from the founding member of the partisan unit Olga, Ladislav Verner.
