The book "The History of the Olympik Club" looks back at the era of big beat beginnings that emerged in the famous Prague club sixty years ago. In an attractive format containing a significant amount of archival photographs and period materials, it not only brings closer the beginnings of the duo Šimek and Grossmann, the founders and spiritual fathers of the music club, but primarily maps the club and beat activities throughout the 1960s. Our book market has not yet offered a publication with a similar focus. "The History of the Olympik Club" aims to repay this debt with memories from witnesses of the beat explosion in our country, the first discotheques, or the first rock magazine, as well as the birth of the legendary duo Šimek and Grossmann.
