I have been working on the book for more than ten years. During that time, I have discovered and tried several paths until I reached a deeper understanding. Every single event that happens to us has its meaning and leads us somewhere, teaching us something. Similarly, I embarked on a journey of discovery and deeper understanding, following in the footsteps of Arthur Schopenhauer and Albert Schweitzer. They opened my eyes, and their knowledge guides me to know and understand even more than before. It's not just about knowledge, but also about experiencing Schopenhauer's life. We recognize this when we go through similar experiences as he did; however, it depends on us whether we are able to move forward or close ourselves off and become angry about injustice and lack of recognition. If, however, we can accept defeat and look at it from a different angle, we can move on. More than once, religion emphasizes that we should not fight but accept it with humility and turn the other cheek. Our pride and arrogance hinder us in this. I have had the opportunity to go through several trials like Arthur Schopenhauer himself. Perhaps we are close because we were born on the same day and month.
