Description
There are many works that deal with biblical texts, but rarely do they focus on the simplest things: what did Jesus offer his listeners that crowds followed him? Why do we call his teaching the good news? People followed Jesus even at a time when nothing was known about his resurrection. Even then, the foundations were laid from which the tradition of today's church grew. The first part of the book, which I have called "Stories of Faith," consists of several reflections that indicate the angle from which I view the gospel. The main part then consists of reflections on excerpts from the gospels arranged as they are read in the three-year cycle during Catholic Sunday masses. The title of the book is a combination of a reference to this three-year cycle and a reference to Christ's three-year ministry in the world.
