Description
Dan is an ordinary boy. He is fifteen, does well in school, and is going to high school after the summer. The moment his parents are shot and he himself is injured, his previously simple and easy life changes beyond recognition. All his certainties collapse like a house of cards in an instant. The murderer of his parents, although known to some people, continues to evade justice and presents himself as an upstanding citizen. Dan cannot bear this, so despite all the obstacles, which are not few, he embarks on a quest for the truth as he comes of age. Along the way, he grows close to his colleague Markéta, who finds herself on his side because of her brother, who is unjustly accused of murdering his girlfriend, a crime committed by the same person. Will determination, courage, and ordinary human emotion help them on their path to justice? Will Dan find what he lost at the beginning of that summer years ago?
