Slovo proti slovu – Harasimová Markéta (2022)

Gita is going through a joyful period in her life – she is looking forward to her wedding, her career is on the rise, and although she didn't plan it, she finds out that she is expecting a baby with her fiancé. However, just one company party turns everything upside down. The young woman becomes a victim of rape, which traumatizes her deeply. More than anything, she would like to erase the horrific experience from her memory, but she also wants to achieve justice, so she decides to address the incident through official channels. However, she faces a harsh awakening when she encounters a lax attitude from the police and subsequently even misunderstanding from her fiancé, whose support she believed in. She experiences depressive episodes that lead to the painful loss of her expected child, and ultimately Gita is shocked by a breakup, which is the proverbial last straw for her. Since worldly justice seems nonexistent, she decides to take it into her own hands and avenge her devastated life in her own way. She knows the identity of her attacker and is determined to go through anything, even murder… After all, she has nothing left to lose.
