Jak chutná strach – Harasimová Markéta (2021)

Determined yet somewhat reckless journalist Eva has sharp elbows, and when she sets her sights on something, she literally goes over corpses. However, by pushing too hard, she not only loses a promising boyfriend but also lands herself in serious trouble at work. The heroine wants to maintain at least a flickering career after her personal life has collapsed, so she presses her brother—a police investigator—for exclusive information on a series of brutal murders and unexplained kidnappings that the police are currently dealing with. Due to her stubbornness, Eva literally sticks her head into the noose. A dangerous group of killers, whom the police have been unable to catch for many months, is hot on the heels of the inquisitive reporter... Before Eva realizes that she is in mortal danger, she becomes a victim of kidnapping and is imprisoned. Her stubborn need to achieve her goals at any cost becomes her doom, and the young woman finds herself on a very thin line between life and death. She loses her freedom and the ability to make decisions for herself, and she also loses her dignity. The only thing left is paralyzing fear.
