Základy islámu a jejich výklad – ibn Hanbal Imám (2023)

This book consists of two parts: the work of Imam Ibn Hanbal, The Foundations of the Sunnah (the foundations of the tradition of the Islamic prophet Muhammad), and the work of Imam Barbahari, Explanation of the Sunnah (an explanation of the tradition of the Islamic prophet Muhammad). With this translation, we make accessible writings that are fundamental theological texts of today's religious fundamentalism among Sunni Muslims of Salafist orientation, who represent the greatest threat in Europe today and from whose ranks the terrorist organization Islamic State has emerged. This book presents the dogmatic views of the most conservative interpretation of Islam as articulated by the Hanbali school (i.e., direction), and can thus be considered, in a certain sense, an extreme interpretation of Islam, which is in many respects at odds with, for example, the interpretation of Islam according to the Hanafi school. This book is not a book by non-Muslims about Islam, but rather a book showing one of the Muslim directions of interpreting Islam. The authors of these two translated dogmatic texts constructed Islamic faith, Islamic law, and Islamic dogma on the fundamental view that Islam and Muslims should govern, and others have the duty to submit to them, and they justify these dogmas in the texts presented here.
