It is rare for a layperson to realize how important the "guts of our cities" are. That is, they realize it strongly when they stop functioning. And that is never associated with pleasant feelings, let alone aesthetic ones. The complexity, elegance, and beauty of the entire system is usually revealed only to those who are involved in its construction and maintenance. This book is exceptional in that it uncovers part of this hidden world. It was created at the initiative of several companies that rightly wanted to showcase something extraordinary, in which each of them contributed in their own way.
