Description
The noble maiden Malwina believed the squire from Vlčiště, who promised her help, and instead of the agreed marriage, she chose to flee from home. But what good is a protector who has become an outlaw overnight? Bergar from Vlčiště took on the obligation to care for his friend's relative, but upon returning home, he discovered that those who climb high fall deep and fast. He is left with a maiden who has strange tendencies to heal with mere touch, and from his inheritance from his father, only the more problematic part remains. Malwina, raised in the belief that magic is a dark and evil force, encounters creatures from terrifying myths for the first time, and Bergar cannot decide between justice and revenge.
