Spirituální pozadí vnějšího světa - Pád duchů temnoty – Steiner Rudolf (2025)

In lectures given at the end of the First World War, Rudolf Steiner reveals what he sees as the spiritual background of historical events and the crises of the modern age. This Czech-language book explains his view that, since 1879, so-called spirits of darkness have influenced human thought: fallen angelic beings cast down from the spiritual worlds to Earth after their defeat in battle with the archangel Michael. According to Steiner, their influence can be perceived in materialism, one-sided intellectualism and attempts to create utopian social orders. Steiner also shows that people can consciously choose to cooperate with spirits of light, opening a path toward liberation from the bonds of race, nation and blood. He discusses figures he believes shaped the era, including mystics J. V. Andreae, V. Solovyov and Saint-Martin, political leaders Woodrow Wilson and David Lloyd George, and Goethe and Darwin. The book explores the tension between humanity’s intellectual and moral development, warns against the “deadening of living thought” and explains the role of angelic and archangelic beings in the human organism and throughout history.
